As some may know, 2007 marks the 40th anniversary of Jean Larrivée Guitars. We are honoring this event with a special commemorative L-09 with many of the features found on Jean's early guitars. The JCL is completely different than our modern L-09, check out the specs listed below! Each guitar will come with a signed certificate by Jean Larrivée, commemorating this milestone event.

The specs for the JCL are:

- One-piece South American Mahogany neck

- Marquetry Rosette (this is the same rosette Jean used in the 1970?s)

- Large Mother-of-Pearl fingerboard dots, just like the 1970s guitar
- Alan Magee Label (the same one used in the late 1960's and 1970?s)
- Modified bracing (matching some original parts from early steel strings)
- Decorative Back Center Strip with Matching Tail Strip

- Rosewood Body Bindings with Holly Purflings
- Schaller M6 Machine Heads
- Black Alligator Style Case with Plush Green Interior
- Bone Nut and Saddle
- Signed Certificate from Jean Larrivee
